About the training center

Innovative Teaching Training Center

One of the main goals of the European University is to ensure a high-quality educational process. Within this goal, Innovative Teaching Training Center was founded in May 2019 by the European University, which focuses on improving the continuous professional development of the academic and invited personnel of the University and introducing innovative teaching methods in the field of higher education.

It should be noted that since the establishment of the Center, the European University has invited international experts. A conference on "Modern methods and challenges of teaching and assessment in higher education" was held, also, within international cooperation, training was provided for the trainers of the Center by the representatives of the University of Hungary and the University of Salzburg in Austria (the University of Salzburg and Central European University).

The process of introducing innovative teaching methods in the educational programs is supported by qualified trainers of the training center. The training center systematically offers six basic modules to the academic personnel and invited specialists:

1. Planning learning process-oriented on students;

2. Modern methods of assessment in higher education;

3. Modern teaching methods in higher education;

4. Problem-based learning;

5. Integration of plagiarism detection software into the learning process;

6. Effective use of remote platforms during the teaching process.

Also, by the end of 2020, the training center plans to train the staff implementing Medical Doctor program MD in the methodology of medical education in accordance with the field characteristics of higher education in medicine.

In close cooperation with the administrative personnel, the Innovative Teaching Training Center promotes the introduction of digital platforms, both in the teaching-learning process and in the direction of the remote regimes of work. 

The qualified involvement of the Innovative Teaching Training Center at the time of the global pandemic is worth to be noted, which is related to the proper training of academic personnel, moving to remote regimes of the learning process, es and providing the students of European University with an active learning process.
